Does the engine require air bleeding after refilling the coolant, if so how do you do this??

fill the radiator, then run it with the cap off and keep topping it up as the air purges out. when it is warm enough that it starts to spill coolant, put the cap back on to direct the overflow into the catch bottle.

Check again when cold in morning. Top rad to top, coolant bottle to 1/.3rd.
