I’m currently looking into re-gearing my ’93 TD42 LWB Maverick from 4.11 to 4.375 diff ratios to compensate for the upgrade to 33” wheels.
I think the easiest way would be to swap the entire diff centers. I believe the 3ltr GQs came with 4.375 diff ratios.
I have a couple questions regarding this swap:
- would these replacement diffs bolt in straight away
- are the rear diff centers compatible between the drum and disk axles (mine has a rear drum). Both rear diff types (drum & disk axle) are 33 slpine. Does anyone know the difference, because ARB lists two different Air Lockers for these types (RD17 & RD24) |
