Just a post to find out if any one else has noticed a fair amount of movement in there aftermarket rear upper trailin arm bushes .........................

And by movement i dont mean flexin or wheel travel i mean actual deflection of the bush itself in the tube as on the weekend and with fresh memorys of the little accident with my tailshaft ,,, hypo noticed there was a decent amount of axle wrap not excessive i dont think but enough to kick the pinion up bout 20 mm and this was only wen sittin on the brakes on the side a reasonable slope it may have been more wen actually standin on it as i did to drive this ledge Rolling Eyes ................

Just curoius to know i think i may well be goin all standard nissan bushes in the future with the new link setup (if it eva getz done Rolling Eyes )

Went asking a mate who works in a very respected suspension shop the other day about which bushes were the best for link suspension applications .He said by far the standard Nissan bushes and he new of quite a few vehicles that had been changed over to the original bushes from after market ones now just got to find some cheap originals as last time i phoned Nissan was quoted $40 each nearly the price of a johnny joint

dan, i watched mine on the dyno when the dude was tuning the gas. they don't wrap enough to worry about. unless you don't have enough seperation at the axle end.
i guessed and set my pinion pointing so that the unit had the tiniest bit of angle visible in it, and when he nailed it on the dyno it pulled the uni dead straight. at a rough guess 10-15mm is probably about what they allow..
