ok, i just bought an 03 hdj 79 and i was wondering if the front springs are a match for any other vehicle or if there is a spring any 79 owners would recommend. i'm after about 50-75mm lift and the car will be running a steel bar, h/m winch and scrub bars so it will be slightly hevier.
i have been mucking around with my 75 for years and have that sorted as a trail rig but i'm a bit unfamiliar with these coily things.
oh... and i'm not after big travel or anything, this one is going to be a reliable, stable tourer. |

Hi all...mule75,its about 575mm.
My last 79series i had 2inch soft king springs and they were a bit soft for touring and high speed dirt roads.Thats the reason i put mediums on my present 79series.I think king springs mediums would be a tad softer than lovells medium. |
