hey there outers...
i come seeking knowledge.
going camping this weekend. near dungog in the mountains, but in a valley.
looking to take TV generator and set top box and watch the NRL grand final. i dont have a set top box, never used one.
whats the chances of this working???
or am i drink driving to the nearest pub to watch the game?
only kiddin on drink driving im responsible.

I should add... camping just north of Dungog.

and normally no generators etc.
but it is the grand final...

hahahaha....
well i thought just the set top box did it?
so you need an antenna and a set top box?
arggghhhh.

i get digital at home thru my plasma but yeah it has an antenna plugged in...

The set top box is just a big decoder, you still need something to receive the signal with.

I think one of the govt. websites about digital TV has a coverage map - might offer a little insight.

You may be better off sticking to analog - at least then you may be able to get a dodgy picture (better than no picture at all with digital)

You should definitely attach an antenna to some kinda of booty-fab home made hot air balloon, for extra elevation.
