We don't have dual cab here so i'm in the process to built one .
What i need is the two complete back(rear)door of a dualcab from 1989 to 1993.Plus all the plastic around the door (moldind).
If you know some one that have this for sale or even a good wreck yard with hilux parts plese let me know...
I'm in Quebec so i my english is not perfect.......
And just btw we don't have fj45 here too so i built one !This is the thread (in french but got lot of pic.....i took a fj40 for the frame ,stretch 3` and take a Toyota 1965 Stout bed)

..except that he's in quebec so I would assume that you couldn't get a whole cab shipped? or is that what you intend on doing? |

If it were me I would get a rear cut sent over (cut thru the windscreen pilar and across the floor )
that way you get back doors, the window, roof ,rear bulkhead , rear seat ,seat belts, and rear door mounts(pilars) then just add LHD front
all done easy all toyota parts and mounts much easier to get legal than custom stuff
I think it would be worth the extra freight to save time in head aches and labor

Thnx ...yes too bad that in french!I'm here too work on my english as well!
We don't have the same Toyota as you down under .....
So that the reason why i built my own fj45
And for the dual cab i had a pm from Tobie (not sure if he sell Toyota parts or whathever) But i'm waiting to see for a price for a complete truck and if it's too much i will cut a 4runner (hilux surf) and weld the rear of a dual cab.......lot of work but this is where the fun begin....no?
The winter all road have selt to melt the snow ....So toyota don't last long here .....
And this is my next step :Import Toyota here in Canada from Australia .
The law betewen Australia and Canada are easy to deal with the only this is the car must have 15 year old!
So you are still in bed and here is 5 p.m.

Good luck with it.
Wish our import laws were easier, then we could get some nice cars out of Japan. |
