Hey all just picked up my first turbo diesel yesterday. being new to the diesel world i have a few questions. 1- what revs should i be sitting on while cruising at 100? 2- how often should i service the old gal? 3- what should i look out for on her?
She is stocko from what i see except it has a 2 1/2 inch pipe spotties and bullbar. and done 230K.

Firstly i'm no expert but I've got a 3.1TD MU. When I was running 31" tyres it sat just over 3000RPM but with the 33's it sits about 2500-2750. I do the oil every 5000km oil filter every 10000km the rest of the servicing is pretty much the same.

I have 3.1 jackaroo it sits around 2800 at 100km with 265/70/16 Tyers
I have the same service routine as redbull
Good luck with the jackaroo they are a good thing
