Quote:
A FOUR-wheel-drive has plummeted off a cliff at Encounter Bay - but amazingly the driver escaped with just minor injuries.

The older model Mitsubishi Pajero ended up on rocks at the waters edge at Petrel Cove about 9.15am after becoming bogged on a walking trail.

Witnesses said two passengers tried to push the vehicle, which was stuck precariously on the edge of the 15m cliff.

The car then ploughed over the cliff with the driver behind the wheel.

It is not known how the three fishermen negotiated the rocks that were on the walking trail to stop vehicles entering.

Emergency workers now face the difficult task of removing the vehicle from the rocks.

.

Gotta love the fishermen giving 4wder's a good name.....
