Hi guys are all the GU diffs strong or is it only the 4.2 and bigger that are tuff?
I have come across a set of front and rear diffs complete out of a 2000, 3 litre deisel auto in QLD.
what ratio are these and will they handle a 304, thanks in advance |

All the Gu difs are the same, nearly all are h233, though there is the h260 on leaf utes, 4.8 and the odd other vehicle.
They will nearly garanteed to 4.3:1 amd yep they will cope with a holden 304. |

these would likley to be 4.3's. the GU diffs are around 50mm wider and have bigger cv's. The GQ diffs would handle the 304 have you considered Cal's chromolys?
for the cost of GU diffs you could wack a set of Cals chromolys in the GQ diff.
just a though.. |
