Winch Issues

I need some help with my Warn XD9000

Last week it stopped working and all I got was the clicking solenoids.

This weekend I stripped the motor down and it was filled with mud and water.

I gave it a good clean and put it back together exactly how I took it apart.

Now the cable turns so slow, and it draws so much current that it make the engine on the Patrol cut out...

What have I done wrong???

Have I put something back together wrong or is my motor shot??

Any help would be great
