We've decided the OBC was our last event, we are retiring gracefully on a high.
Does anyone know how to contact Car 39 Troy Crimmin & Mike Bryant....
Qld, who showed interest in taking our Cliffhanger spot ova......
If not them, anyone else want it???....
I believe there's also another spot going begging too, contact Rudi direct.

Hey C&E... That is sad, although i must say i'm glad to be lucky enough to have met you guys and been involved in competition with you, albeit briefly. It is your tenacious yet layback, never say die type of attitude that gives so many people in this sport inspiration to get involved. I'm sure many more people than those who reply would like to say thanks for the experience, companionship, comradery and friendship you have supplied over the years.
I wish you all the best in the future and i'm certain we will bump into you spectating somewhere around the traps. Don't forget to gimme a cheer as i bumble my way up some stupidly steep rocky hill dragging a winch line behind me.
Dan

Celia & Eugene

I have only known you both for a few years having first competed with you at the first Cliffhanger. You certainly inspired me to give the sport a go. I remember when looking at a stage you motivated me by saying if other cars have done it we can do it also. Hope to see you both at different events.

Cheers

PS Having been away with Robyn my partner the last few days for some R & R and read the mess up in the placing for Trophy class rang Paul yesterday and offered our Throphies Back (although it is a horrible feeling having been put through the mess up)

Celia & Eugene was great catching up with you both once again at OBC & again last night for drinks to farewell the UK & Scottish lads.

It is indeeed a sad day that you have retired but in saying that you have inspired many & Celia you have bought other women into the sport. You should both hold your heads high both of you.

I wish you all the best in the future & i hope you become group leaders and stay with the OBC in some way

Love Mal xoxoxo

So feel for you Gary about the prize giving mess up.....hopefully they'll get the scoring right next year and classing?!?....tho I know the CCDA class rules are changing, NOT that there's anyone to check at the start....they have gone purely on what the driver has submitted and then got it wrong too.

We had a std 4.2 petrol/gas engine, a std. high mount winch and 35" Procomp tyres......Trophy Class..... so how come we were classed in Challenge???
At least Norm & Clay were good enough to fess up to having modified their winch, which placed them in Challenge C. and therefore they declined the 2nd Trophy Class place.

Good Luck for Cliffhanger....I know it's going to be yet another top time/event.

Also to Mal...... thanks heaps for your wishes and kind words ...it's been g8 competeing with all you guys/gals over the years and I have always felt accepted and made to feel like one of the blokes(drivers) ...always....and treated with respect, warmth and encouraging support.
Good luck to you as well in future comps.
lol
