Has anybody ever done a diagram/kit to convert the old 'constant movement' windscreen wiper control to an intermittent one?? i believe it would be straight forward enough however, no luck with google.

I never done it myself, but know a little bit about whats involved. It's possible with the old equipment, but there is no control over where the start position of the blades will be.
You will need to get a wiper motor, wiper relay and combo switch (Column stick) from a newer car and graft it to your old car to do the job properly.

jaycar or dick smith used to do a kit called wiper robot. that was for the older cars, adjustable intermittent times etc. not sure if its still in production but worth a look. |
