hey all i noticed this morning that i had foam like bubbles in my radatior

do this mean that the head gasket is gone


i also noticed that there is a squeaking noice comming from the top end of the motor

any advice would be good

blow head gasket mate. not sure bout the squeeking, but doesnt sound good.

Not nessisarily. I have seen foamy bubbles in lots of cooling systems that have not had head gaskit problems. It could be as simple as a slightly loose hose in the system or a leaky water pump sucking air in. I would get it to a Rad shop and get them to do a leak down and carbon monoxide test on the system before getting too worried.

As for the other noise i couldnt give you any real advice without hearing it sorry.

I agree, don't go ripping heads off without being sure. The squeeking noise could be coming from the timing belt/tensioner/idler.

i found that my bottom rad hose was a bit lose tightened it up and have no longer got bubbles and the noise was one tensioner bearings i replaced and no more noise
