I have a 2000 softtop wrangler.... driving it above 80 is like driving a tent.
Saying that .... I love it to death .. and driving over 80 with the roof off is actually quiter then roof on.

could be an aftermarket window. i bought a wrangler today with aftermarket glass windows which is awesome as i really dont like the plastic ones.
also that link you posted wouldn't work for me, so i dunno what your actually reffering to!
here's what my windows look like, i can always go to the plastic aswell if needed.

Hard top is a good investment. Changes the ride completely. They are pretty cheap these days too. Soft top is good for summer if you can be bothered takin the top off. I do topless all the time when I can. AC on improves the flapping. Also make sure the roof is on tight. The sliders (1/2 doors with glass sliding windows) are real good too. Security with the 1/2 door was always an issue until I got my set. |
