been done. Huddy had one in his GQ shorty, so the rumore goes. Seen the car just havn't seen under the bonnet. Have also heard of somone putting a GU4.8 into a GQ shorty and the plan was to turbo and intercool it.

Isn't the 4.5 just a stroked 4.2???? why would you bother.....
And I believe Huddy wasn't real happy with the performance, better now apparantly......
I have also heard rumours of a cetain turbo workshop building a new bigger turbo 6 for their shorty...... hence drafty and co scoring the old motor..... |

And score we did big time, that motor goes like you wouldnt believe.
Mark is going to do a 4.5 by the sounds of things and Birdy a 4.8 rumour has it. Both cars are completely stripped and being rebuilt but Mark will not be entering the new truck in OBC 2004, still to much to do he reckons. |

yeah i have heard that too about the 4.5, although i havent driven one yet! Same bellhousing i am told. Maybe I might try a different cam to boost up the TB4.2. |
