There is a vitara / escudo body available that might be able to be modified to fit the clod.

cheers

Quick search found this. It is HPI body. Maybe do some trimming and it could look a mega lifted SWB vitara.

cheers

I dont know of any suzuki bodies (4x4 ones)

but if you go to www.towerhobbies.com and look at all their bodies

you might find something close Smile

I found a chev thats close to my cruiser (well when painted the same as my 1:1 4x4)

maybe you can find something close or similar to a vitara Smile

THanks
matt

Here is my two cents worth on clod bodies!

I recommend pro-line truck bodies, as they are alot thicker and stronger than anything else on the market at the moment!
Tamiya, Parma, HPI etc... make some nice looking bodies but they are to flimsy!!! For rock crawling!( good poser ones ).

Matt.

THe body doesnt really look much like a cruiser at all, just its the shape of my MWB so when painted the right colors ppl will think it looks the same - if you know what i mean:)

Good to see you back on the air BJ its been a while since we had to decipher your lingo.
Kyosho used to make a cruiser body but good luck trying to find on.They also made a four runner which you may have more luck with.As for a zukey shell i don't think one was ever made, pajero's yes chevs , fords.
If you just want it for looks try some toy shops for a hard body shell.
They are ussually too brittle to run but look good. You may find some thing a bit different.
What are you talking about BJ ????

Purely for shelf I am thinking of making a balsa wood body..

PURELY for teh shelf Smile it'd break off road.. but i'm going to either make a 40 series ute or a 70 series - cant decide - but I wont be making it myself I have a friend that makes rc boats looking at making the body for me

Spose I'll have to run the hummer body for the mean time

Hope you find something suitable for your clod

I am having a mate do a few body moulds up for 80, FJ40 and maybe a Zuk or Nissan.

He is a sculptor with credits to his name like Star Wars 2&3, The Matrix 2&3, Ned Kelly and so on. I will let you guys know when I have a prototype made.

Any other ideas for bodies would be good.

Yeah but you can already get Hilux bodies (Bruiser and Tacoma). Maybe an FJ45 or a troopie/
