My Alt has died ( Diodes de-laminated ) Has anyone found an easy fit replacement for the factory alt ( I don't want to make custom brackets etc), It would be nice to have something with some balls - 80Amp or better.

also very interested, my alt on my 2f charges bloody low with head lights and thermos on
i would love a replacement without mods |

I bit the bullet and bought a new non-genuine replacement alt. 80 A. rrp was $509, Paid somewhat less than that though.

i use a bosh univeral 140A only mod was a new longer bolt and $5 piece of flat bar. works well in the dark or when winching |
