I admit that I am not the greatest on the puter but I find the search option really ineffective. So I would rather put up with the pious ravings of the Outer die hards and hopefrully one of 'em will reply or PM the right link.

Oh alright, seeing as you cant find the freequently asked questions, at the top of the page!
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed). |

Thanks for your reply. Ok to clarify this, I understand the link to a jpeg or similar file hosted at some other address, and your ISP usually provides a certain amount of web space if you look, but is the link address shown or the actual image on Outers?
I have obviously seen the various links but what I am interested in is displayed images on Outers that you find in the classifieds.

If you use the IMG tags [img][/img] around the picture's address, then it will show the picture. |
