A mate recently bought a set of xenon lights only to find out they are for 24v. Is there any way he can use these on a 12v system? |

dont know if anyone makes them but you could look for a transformer to up the volts from 12 to 24. |

Hi GQ Bear, try checking out a truck spare parts supplier, they have step-up inverters for running 24 volt trailers from 12 volt prime movers.
You should be able to get one to suit your mates lights, just make sure you know the total current draw of the lights and then get a step-up inverter at least 50% bigger and then he will have no troubles.
He could also try caravan accessories places as well, they carry similar gear.
Cheers. |
