Lockee, I removed the wires into my doors, pink ones, and started fresh. The factory setup is crap. There is no solinoid/actuator/motor in the drivers' door. It is merely a switch that is activated by the key to lock the other doors. So it must be locked/unlocked via the key every time. I have always used the crappy $20 central locking kits from Strathfield without problems. If one gives up, I buy a new kit and have spares for next time. Not that I have problems either. You will need two kits to get a 5th actuator for the rear door. Then I wire it all up to an aftermarket alarm. Works fine and easy. |

being a ti it probly already has solinoids for all the doors bar the drivers door , so you just need one actuator for it , then you could hook up your keyless entry to it only and control all the other doors
easier and less wiring to do |

True. But the Nissan ones are prone to breaking at the arm that pivots. I also changed it all so that I knew it was compatable with the alarm I was instaling at the same time. |
