Our local IGA will give your money back & give you the item if they have stuffed up by overcharging you for the item.
My missus catches them without fail every time & tonight we are having free ice cream. |

All Coles & woolworths are the same. They reply on you not looking at the price of every item when you do the shopping and also not looking at the screen when they are scanning.
Other places have similar polocies. (variety stores like Target & Kmart) Goot meself a free bike once from Big W.
Other places will offer you an additional discount.
but anyway, welcome to the ninties. |

Chick at woolies the other day tried to charge me twice for about 3 items but I always watch the screens as they are scanning. I didn't get nothing for free, not even a fuel voucher. |

they have similar policies. which is why when price goes up the sign before at the bowser. i believe it is the law.
but the item for free policy doesnt work at liquorland etc.
as the policy doest apply to alcohol or tobacco. i tried that line when i got fawked over at a liquorland and i got shotdown. |

As far as I remember the rule is the first item is for free, and any additional items are at the lower price. so if you buy 10 items and it scans higher than the advertised price, you will get the first one for free and the rest at the lower price. |
