I just got a quote form a Iselect for family top cover @ $247 a month how doeas that stack up is it a good deal?
prices are about to go up again arnt they?
Is there any change in my tax?
what about medicare levis ect? |

I find the Iselect site a bit confusing it because price isn’t the only thing to consider and the price will obviously change with your options.
Sometimes you can get a tax deduction, more likely the fund will claim the deduction and give a reduced premium, read the fine print.
Medicare levis remains the same, you still can go private or public and depending on what you need done it may be cheaper and no longer wait to go pubic particularly if you choose to have an excess. If you only need day surgery your probably just as well off with Medicare |

We pay $170 a month for MBF for the 4 of us (me, wife and 2 kids) but that is through a corporate cover |

Sounds about right muddy digger.
I'm with NHB and pay about that with full hospital cover (No excess) and all the extra stuff. Considering my two boys and my wife have had operations in the last three years we are way in front. |
