Gme 3200 Problem with sending signal

HI all,

posting this one for a mate,

His got a 3200, was working fine,
now has issues.

if he talks to us on uhf if like he is wispering,
but when we talk to him its normal
so in a nut sheel,

the 3200 has a probelm sending signal,

Is their anything that goes wrong with them?
or something i can test or change? can i get replacement parts for him?

also we have tried it in differnent cars using different antennas, same prob.

Any help would be great,

i had a similar issue on my last trip - when i got home i just pulled the microphone apart bit of inox and a clean put it back together and works a treat now.

Cant hurt to try.

no worries, sound like a plan, dont think we've tried this one yet.

all fixed,

was mic,
had dry joints and mic stuffed,
replace mic and resolders all joints, then
soldered all joint on uhf,

Fixed!
