Well last night got around to changing my body mount rubbers.
The old ones were .. And I mean .. The new ones are about 2cm longer at least! The rubber was worn away that bad on some, I thought the holes maybe fubar, but only 2 were ovaled out about 2mm, but enough to move a bit...
On way home, and this morning as you turn corners, driveways where it used to bang and clunk, not a sound! |

How much were the rubbers, and how'd you source them? After putting the polyethylene blocks in, my ride is fractionally smoother, but the rubbers were pretty crap in places. |

Genuine Nissan ones.. $350-450 a set of 12, and they last 10 yrs, so they are cheap if you look at it that way.. |

do you know where the knocking sounds were coming from exactly? Is it it the body knocking against something because there is movement? I have knocking sounds but don't really want to spend that much on new mounts, i may not have a choice if genuine is the only option. |

Its the mount rubber wears away... the body moves on the mounts as there is no rubber to hold it in place. After last night, its seriously one of the better $400s Ive spent.. Do it dude, you wont regret it... |
