I was wondering, if there are different laws (tech inspection) and taxes if I take my car(s) to AUS as moving goods? cheers m |

You need to contact Australian Customs and get a ruling in writing, you will also need to contact the Department of Transport regarding the obtaining of an Import Approval.
DO NOT SHIP YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU HAVE EITHER OF THESE. |

DOTARS is the regulatory body on motor vehicles, you need to apply to them to get an import permit before you even think of shipping it. |

Thanks for all your help. I got the infos about importing a car into AUS, but didn`t found any infos about taxes on moving goods/cars. will send mail to AUS customs...see what they say.thanks m |
