I had one for a while, sold it on ebay some time ago. Sold it for more than you got yours for, so you did well.

Other then maintanance the only real problem i had was the EZ-start system. For some reason the controller wouldn't send power to the glow plug, i ended up using a glow plug ingniter. Might be worth keeping one handy just in case because apparently it's a common problem. Make sure you get an original manual, you will need one. There are a few adjustment to the gearbox, brakes, not to mention fine tuning the engine that would be quite difficult to do without one. It would also pay to stick to the requirements for maintanance, it will really help prolong the life of your engine.

They are heaps of fun, but be prepared to put some time in for tuning and maintenance, i didnt have the patience for it Embarassed .

Traxxas also have a pretty good forum setup with how to's etc for alot of the common issues. It can be found through there main website.

I bought my boys a Savage big block each for Xmas. Give me a chance and I would piss them off as quick as I purchased them.
Don't get me wrong the Savage big blocks are no doubt the best nitro trucks, but being so use to electrics nitro really does suck.
Great when they're going, but thats all I can say positive.
Get me back to electric any day and with the new brushless motors, nitro will soon be a thing of the past.
Cheers Very Happy
