2) What size wall should I use for the round tubing??
3) What thickness for the brackets to attach to the chassi??

This is what I am thinking:
1) 3mm
2) 3mm
3) 5mm |

My sliders are all 75x50x3.2 and welded to the frame and take an absolute flogging and are yet to bend at all. |

3mm+ sounds good, i made a t/case cross brace out of 40x40x 2mm & bent it the first time i took it out.
Then again my Cruiser is kind of heavy. |

Tube and pipe thickness sounds okay (3mm) but use something like 8 or 10mm for the bracketry, make it wide also so it doesnt crimp the chassis. |

I plan to use 3 supports for the runner.

i used 65mm tube with a 4mm wall for the slider, 40x40x4mm rhs for the bars goin into the chassis and 75x8mm plate clamping the chassis with 3 mounts on a single cab. little bit overkill.
they sit about 2mm away from the sill lip and they have been landed on pretty hard an never touched the sill. |
