3b water pump

hi guys. has anybody with the 3b had any trouble with water pump pulley just like shredding. i done one about 4 months ago and today my second one went and took the water pump and belt with it. the only thing ive done is had the alternator of and rebuilt. so i think the belt tension might have been to tight and the same last time it happend i took the alt off to put on the turbo. i was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem before.

never had this problem. Suggest you check the belt tension as well as alignment! You can use a straight edge or piece of string to check the alignment.
