Peter should be able to clear this up but i think thats what they originaly made.(lights for shooting) Then they branched out into Automotive.

Is this right Pete?

Correct!... Lightforce was conceived by a country dentist who was part time pro roo shooter... thought existing spotlights and scopes were not up to scratch so made his own.

The rest is history... now exporting to more than 40 countries inclsuding US military. 3 product portfolios.

Sporting/shooting spotlighst accessories
Driving lights
Rifle scope optics (NIGHTFORCE)

Not just my advertising hype, LF was truly born in the Australian Outback.

Yep, top spot light !

We used to hunt pigs at night back up in Darwin & sell them to the fridge trucks at a $1 kilo. Very Happy

The main reasons for using the lightforce was because they are light enough to hang out the window all night & excellent illumination. (also adjustable)

Hey Peter i work with Trucks every day and one of the drivers was telling me about a guy down your way that was making Tin Can spotlights by hand.Using old pineapple and beetroot tins as the housing. And then hand making the reflector and lense.

This isnt the same guy that now makes the lightforce is it?

The driver had not heard of the guy for a long time but said he was mainly making these lights for shooters.

Yep thats basically it! Company has gone a long way since then. Adelaide office is headquarters with admin and manufacturing now at about 20 people with a USA office and 6 people. LF is wholly Australian owned and operated contrary to a few misconceptions out there.

Awsome this is what i thought but the driver beleived it was a different company. He had a couple fitted into the original high beam positions on a Kenworth T650. They looked just like a LF but were obviously individually hand made.
