Hi Guys,
i just got a new Haltech E6X ECU and fully terminated harness, and i have a question if any one else has one,
when you purchased the kit did it come with all the sensors as the manual says it does,
mine came last week with out the TPS, MAP coolant temperature sensor and inlet air temperature sensor. Even tho on page 11 chapter 1 says they should all be included in the kit, the guy at the store says that i should use my old sensors and knowing what range rovers are like the sensor is one of the weakest links and i wont be using any old part with the new ECU,
has anyone got any advice |

go carbies
no but seriously, if it says in the manual that it comes with sensors, then I would assume it should. Was it bought new ... I would take it back where it came from and demand new sensors. If you are going through all the hassle of fitting the system, you DO NOT want any Lucas in the system |

Yeah i spoke to Trevor here in Sydney at Haltech and he is going to send me the right sensors after i spent another 200 on a map sensor...
but the Phil at Triumph rover spares in SA couldnt give a Sh#$T, he sent me a TPS out of a disco what was covered in mud and was exactly the same as what i already had and to make matters worse it had a triangle 3 pin plug where the Haltech harness requires a 3 pin flat plug so i could not use it anyway.
Makes you wonder hey
but thanks for your help
and can anyone who has done a 2 inch body lift tell me how long the new bolts have to be and how many i think it is 10 at 5 inches but i like to be sure
cheers |
