Does anybody know anything more about this than whats on the Js Root site? I've searched this site a couldn't find a reference to it. The Babel fish translation is hard to follow.

Looks like it was a factory fitment off an older model 6G72 that ran a water to air intercooler, maybe for the JDM Pajero or something else. |

Yes I've seen those Cyclone engines before.
Mitsu had a high swirl induction system on a range of engines bought out in the late 80's. I looked at a conversion into my old Cordia turbo with a 2.0ltr Sirius "Dash" motor (150Kw) it had a 3 valve head, extra injector, TC07 water cooled turbo and the Cyclone induction system.
I've also seen 6G72 3.0 V6 DOHC 24 valve donks with the Cyclone set up so I agree with Mr Genius that it would be a 6G72 variant with a supercharger probably from the early 90's and from a sports sedan. |

Thanks for the info, it seems to be of the sprintex type, it doesn't look to be a roots, axial or centrifugal compressor? |

RPW do a supercharger kit too.
They are all too expensive tho, max u would want to spend is 1 to 1.5K otherwise ya just throwing money away its not going to add any value. |
