I'm a Risk Manager looking after business operations. It has it's moments. The travel is great for the first trip or two and then it just becomes more work and time away from home. It pays well though.

I've studied a little bit of risk management / environmental risk management as part of a business diploma i did not long ago, your in the right business. I only really touched base on risk management, but good on ya and all the rest.

I'm risk managing sleep vs grades at the moment!

The course is great, the learning curve... huge

But yes, we do from consultancy/design stage to delivery and installation.

I do alot of the work myself, everything from getting supplies, dealing with sub contractors, spray painting, delivery and installation, so i have learnt to appreciate the type of effort that goes into something say like wall to wall, floor to ceiling cabinet!

We have had occasionally clients that leave us the keys and want to get back to a new place, thats kinda cool.

Does that involve safety risks?..............or overall business risks?

That's the direction I want to go, with my employer...........proactive rather than reactive, blah blah.

They seem keen too.

I'm currently in the British Airawys lounge at Heathrow Airport. I'm on my way from Rotterdam to Singapore. I've got a week in Singapore and then home. It's been a long 3 weeks.
