In a few months I'll be complaining a bout the heat, no doubt.

We usually have Qlds top temp from Nov to Mar, but without the humidity, I'm used to in Townsville.

Anyway, I'm seriously looking at getting some good camping gear together.............maybe a new post with a poll about camping trailers.

Are they worth the bucks?

We had a trailer camper jobbie 4 years ago which was quite good, but didn't use it enough, and needed the $$.........

Now we're out west, we think we'll get away..........we WILL get away more often, as great spots are less than 30 minutes from home.

I'm questioning what we actually need though.

Swags and a tarp would do me, but Mrs B wants more comfort.

It never rains......so I'm thinking more shade and comfort sleeping at night

Have you checked out OzTents? Boss had one when I was at TJM. For the time to put up, strength, would deffinitly sway me over a swag.

Or fit out the back of the Patrol for sleeping?
