Don't get me wrong, I have always had jappers and thouroughly enjoyed them, but, now I am permenately in the north with all my hairy mates I will really get to enjoy it for what it is. Luckily I have the opportunity to join in on the rides, social scene, infrastructure if you like that it will bring (not to mention the being killed slowly bit). Two weekends ago when I was last in Karratha I rode 5 different models ranging from old to new (pretty much same as link). These new fuel injected 1540cc donks have the reliability, fuel economy (350 ks to 22lts), no oil leaks & very comfy. Also the resale value is handy too. That 2007 in the link would have cost $31000 new, plus about $6-7000 in wank factor. Just going on the ad it seems pretty good value. Mid 90's wide glides are still sellimg for mid $20's
