A mate of mine has an old cruiser that has just developed a knocking noise in the motor [2f] its definatly not bottom end sounds more like a drivetrain noise, have adjusted valve clearances, no difference.Am thinking it could be a lifter, cam bearing? any advice would be appreciated.

ps. it only does it under load
