Twon, Mark wants to go, not me! Besides, I've only been to QLD once and that was for work (=1 night).

Looking around some more I'm thinking we tell everyone we're going away then turn our mobiles off and play possum at home. At least then we're in the comfort of our own home, with a swimming pool outside and no one else to worry about! Besides, it's only 3-4 nights.

Think about what I could do with the money I'm saving!

Anyone know if there's some sort of "stay and play" deal that movieworld/dreamworld etc do??

AFAIK only Seaworld has them. Dream world has a 2 day pass but if your only here for 3-4 days stuff that! lol

We want really cheap Twon!!! We only want to get away from the family, not have a real holiday! It's going to work out around $1200 per person, that includes fuel, hire car, accom, food, spending money.. The lot! Those places you were showing me yesterday Nwll wee like $1400 just for accom!

Anyway, after a phone call from Ben last night we've decided we're going to Brisbane. Flying up Christmas Eve, driving down to Surfers on Christmas Day.... And that's about as far as we got. armsup

Ben, we fly out on Sunday so might take you up on that offer on Saturday night??

take scotty ten pin bowling...
picture a giraffe on acid trying to run on top of an iceberg. thats how graceful he was.
worth the drive jsut to see that! the 83lux at 10pin.

do you need the car?
why not fly to goldie or too pricey?
or take public transport down there? im sure it still runs even on public hols.

and you think thats odd. try flying perth to sydney in daylight savings.
takes about 6 hrs ish.
but on the clock its a big difference with 3 hrs timezone change.

Yeah we're only going to spend a day on the Goldy. Christmas Day. We figure bugger all is going to be open so may as well make that Beach day.

Car Hire, pick up wednesday evening drop off sunday arvo is looking at around $400.. admittedly that is unlimited k's...

I'm actually starting to look forward to this... Haven't told Mark's mum yet.. Very Happy
