Morning kids!

What a weekend!!! After nearly 2.5 years, I've finally seen Mark drunk. (and throw up) Very Happy

Didn't end up going for a wheel. Ended up at Mum and Dad's for most of the weekend playing Wii. I now have Wii injury Crying or Very sad

Pinch and a Punch Hekta Razz

Anyone got some nice holiday ideas?? Mark and I are ditching Christmas this year so we don't have to please everybody else. (and more importantly, the both of us can drink cos the other one doesn't have to drive to the inlaws place).

Basically, Christmas isn't going to happen for us this year. Any ideas where we can spend the four most expensive days of the year??

go on a cruise jess!
how unsociable are you 2??
just do a breakfast at 1 families place, then do a lunch at the others.
then go home!!!
no driving after 1:30 and no hassles.
then you can drink.
and you have done your duties.

cmon ive been on the field enough to obtain a yellow card..... or ....5 Very Happy

Twon I wish it were that simple.. The past two Christamas have been absolute hell, if lunch goes a little too long at one family, the other family complains, or if someone isn't there to open presents on Christmas morning, someone complains. It's all absolute BS that I'm not putting up with this year. We've tried to get both families to combine on special occasions a number of times but it never happens, so I give up. I'm not dealing with it this year. For us, this Christmas is about us. Every other we've had to worry about keeping everyone else happy and I've just about had enough.

cruise at that time of year will be cheap.
my olds went on the QE2 over xmas one year. or was it new years.. i forget. but it was discounted at that time of yr.

You're right about tourists.. Should stay at home and turn our Mobiles off.

Orrrrrr if anyone on here has a Caravan or holiday house they won't use for those four days.... Hmmmm... Doubt it..

Just looking at prices.. Stock standard cabin will be at least $600 for 4 nights... Anywhere!
