Hi all

I bought my 4by 3 days ago and already wanting to do the suspension

I have a GU Patrol and my aim is an all rounder I don’t want to do serious rock climbing but I don’t want it to stop me either if that makes sense

The rig has to be safe on the road and drivable as I’m in the manufacturing stage of a family and of coarse the wife has to drive it

So far I have visited TJM and there kit is the XGS with 50mm raise is $1100 fitted and the adjustable I’m looking at $1300 fitted

The old man emu set from ARB is valued at $1300 and their extreme shocks the LTR, there valued at $2300

I also visited the big balls performance they recommended the tough dog with 4-inch lift and steering dampener there charging $2700

I also looked at Ranchos and an open to other suggestion

I do want to place large tyres for example 34-36ers what do you all recommend

Make up ya own suspension package ???

Konis?

King springs?

Whiteline/Wizard sway bars??

You said that you'd like to run 34/36's at some stage.. minimum is a 3 inch lift in a GU to run the 36's

Wizard do a great 4 inch kit. www.wizardperformance.com.au

Good luck
