Hey guys, just bought a 1995 dual cab ln106 hilux with a lift in it (thinking around 2") and noticed that when stretched out the front brake lines are maxed out. Im kind of pissed as I wanted to go up to lithgow tomorrow. Is there a good supplier in sydney for extended lines or does anyone on the forum have some lying around? Is there a wrecking yard option?
Cheers guys

If you buy second hand ones you will just end up with the same old dramas.
A brake shop should be able to crimp up some extended brake lines for you, but spend the extra $$ and get the braided steel ones if you can.

pull the little steel clip out that holds the line to the bracket. will give you plently of slack until you get new ones made.

the other thing you could do but its very bodgy and your better off disconnecting the steel clip. using a shifter or somethin similar, bend the chassis mount around and down, it should get you enough slack. but if you can wait a few days either go to the Superior engineering website www.superiorengineering.com.au, or snake racing, www.snakeracing.com.au. or i sure a hose mob down there should be able to make somethin up. or have a yarn to a mechanic he'd know someone who does em locally, or a place like arb, tjm or opposite lock should be able to lead you in the right direction.

cheers hope that helped.

As previously said spend the extra $$ and get the braided steel lines.

I had a mobile guy come do mine and my mates trucks while we were at work. No fuss and no time taken out of my day Wink

i paid $70 for a pair of 700mm long rubber ones when i had my 2" lift done- just rang a brake place, said 2 at 700mm to suit a hilux and picked em up later that day

If your over Campbelltown way, Martins clutch and brake can make them up, just measure what ya want and take a line in for a sample, there's also a place over Fairfield way and another near Peachtree in Penrith
