Can you help me make a decision?

Bloody hell, my 'rock' is overseas and I really don't want to be calling mommy about my delemas. LOL

So here goes:

Do I,

A) Skip the root, go hunting with the mates and miss out on a possible upcoming 4 day contract

B) Get the root, stay in rainy Melb and possibly get onto a good 4 day contract.

Details:

Was meant to be going up north with mates to NSW for a quick pig hunt on Weds night, but I already cancelled a root to go with them.

Now, I have done a sub-contract job for a dive company in Melb who has had a cheque bounce on me and have also failed to be able to read numbers to send money by direct transfer. Sounds fishy? Yeah, but his bonefides seem good... And hes a mate of a good mate.

Now, he asked me to goto a dream dive job out near Wilsons Prom for a couple of days starting friday, but theres a chance that it might not go ahead...

So if I take this choice, choice A, I don't cop a root off a new bird, but i'll have an ace time with some old mates, but I'll definitely miss out on the mad job too.

So if I take this choice, choice B, I cop a root off a new bird, but will miss out on a fun time with mates and might miss out on a good job.

Fark I donno, can someone be my temporary advice rock?

Yeah... I'll be pissed off if I spend 4 days of hard but fun work and not get paid for it on top of the other days i've helped this mob out...

Diving is just a fun gig on the side, I do have a 'normal' job which pays the bills but I'm not particularly desperate for $$ atm.

why is everyone putting getting a root such a priority!!??!!

don't any of you get much action or something. give me a weekend away any day. then when i get home i can get my reward for giving her some time to do whatever she wants for the weekend.

you all sound like it's an annual experience
