whats the cheapest dual battery system (that isnt just a switch) mate keeps draining his battery with his stereo while its parked and wants to run dual batteries.

A constant duty solinoid switched by ignition. If its EFI fit a diode across the energise circuit to control voltage spike. |

RedARC make a smart solenoid for $119 that charges main battery then the second one. Also has provisions for an over ride dash mounted switch.

They have a couple of places. Tullamarine and Glen Waverly I think.
