will a late model GU (current shape) ARB bullbar fit the earlier GU patrols?

Yes it should fit there will be a gap of 10 to 15 mm under you head lights which can be fixed with some rubber, the gap at the grill section will be greater but use larger bit of rubber. If you're not too picky you can get away with it Smile
