i have evidence of an earlier prototype 4x4 by Volkswagen.

Here is an early SUV example

Cool But the toeRag wasnt the first 4wd VW anyway. VW transporters were available in 4wd with twin Difflocks from factory back in the late 70s.

They also brought out a 4x4 combi aswell i believe? Seen a few round the coast, what a way to travel! armsup

Transporter and Kombi are the same thing, just the later square shaped shitter..

yes, they even had a factory model with IFS/IRS an d portals, sorta like a hummer but much weaker, back in the 70s armsup
