hi every1 i have purchased myself a 99 mitsu extra cab petrol v6 triton . it has a alloy tray and a steel bull bar . im running 31 inch all terrains and have the tray full of tools all week and tow a boat or 3 bikes on the weeknd . its standerd hight an want to put a lift in it cause l do a bit of touring when we go away and try to do a bit of 4wd . i just want 2 put a 2 inch lift in it cause still have to work out of it an get stuff in an out of it 4 work . i was looking at the iron man 4x4 lift kits that come with 4 shocks 2 leaf springs and 2 toirsion bars bushes u bolts for $997 with nitro gas shocks or $1140 with foam cell shocks . whats the differents in shocks and are they an alright brand . would i have to do anything else for a 2 inch lift and would you recomend this brand or any other brand . i live in sydney if you know antone around or i could get a lift posted to me . ill be putting it in myself to . The ironman kits are ok. You basically get what you pay for. I got some shocks through this mob... http://www.4wd1.com/triton.htm and thought they where reasonably priced. Personally i don't think you need to replace the standard torsion bars as they are strong enough to be wound up.

If you are carrying a bit of a load and towing then i would recommend a set of polyairs or bellows for the rear as well.

i agree withe the above, standard torsion bars are fine, unless ur going to be fitting a winch or winch bumper on the front,

also standard front shocks are fine as you dont need the extra travel

in febuary i bought an ironman kit for my 97 pajero.. 2 coils 2 torsion bars and 4 shocks for $752.00 i thought it was good value and performs well
