Someone please tell me what I am doing wrong in searching for the previous Top Gear thread to add to? I cant find the bloody thing, so here's a new one!
Anyhow, I know that the series on SBS tonight is old, but I still watch it.
I particularly liked the bit with Jackie Stewart helping James knock 20s off his lap time. I would love to have an expert tell me how to get that sort of gain on a race track. I used to drive my Datto 260Z (2 seater) around Lakeside Raceway and I reckon I improved by 12s over 4 years - mostly by spending lots of money on the motor and suspension.
I could probably have got that gain with someone like Jackie as tutor.
Anyway, Top Gear is showing, even though its old.
Latest series can be downloaded sometime after June 15 according to www.finalgear.com
