Unfortunantly the majority of them stink, even the few im friends with have an odor. Its something to do with the lifestyle of eating with your hands and not washing after eating. I have had to speak to many indian employees over the years about personal hygeine not a comfortable situation to be in but sometimes you need to be honest with yourself and others

No its a common practise one will migrate to Australia, then they will arrange a marriage to someone from another family that wants to migrate and then once the married couple are settled the whole family relocates and the cycle continues. It happens alot and its ignorant to think it doesnt happen in fact the Aus govt even recognised it and changed the laws to make it harder. One girl went to india i know just for the purpose of becoming impreganted so her husband she had never met could migrate as the govt wouldnt recognise there marriage as everyone knew it was a dodge

not talking about stuffed orders where you get free shit etc Laughing

but where the food actually tastes good and served on time etc..?

i have been riding up the central coast a few times lately and every time i have stopped in at the hungry jacks at gosford (just before you go back up the hill to go to the freeway) and i gotta say my meals have always been made nice and hot,fresh, correct and not sloppy as shit like other stores etc...
i have been there at least 10 times in the past 2 months or so and i have genuinely been impressed with the quality of the food and customer service i have received there every time..

We went through Cessnock Macdonalds drive through at breakfast, placed the order, paid and before we got to the window the food was waiting in a bag for us being held out of the window. The food was hot as and I had to wait to let it cool down a bit.

On the way back we stopped by the same Macdonalds for dinner because we though the original breakfast service was some one off joke that could not happen again......well it did, 2 quater pounder meals ready and the chips were too hot to start eating and the burgar was well made.

Dad and I still talk about it and wonder if the same would happen if we went back there now.

One another good fast food place is the local burgar place. They know what soft egg is and they even have a button for it on the register.

I used to work at Burger King on Manly Corso, that was a great job and I got away with murder.

blew up at a few customers, drunks and assholes mostly. All of the people who copped it deserved it.

Always loved the scammers, and their reaction when you told them you didn't care you knew they wanted free shit and to f**k off, and then the manager would back it up.

Also watched the manager when we picked up buns from the Warringah Mall stall knock some guy out who was slapping his missus around.

For the most part the food we sent out though was good, thanks to the indians and the brazilians, the other aussies that worked there (bar 2 or 3) where lazy and didn't care.

I've been to the Cessnock Macca's a few times and every time it was good, hot and well made, never got a order wrong either.

The HJ and Vic point is pretty good as well, quick, and good service. Even on one off orders.
The worst I've seen is KFC at Mt Isa. Slow service, shite food and the floors were slippery with greasy at teh counter. The Macca's isnt much better thou, with service that slow I got my money back and walked out.

It is my local take away shop, it is great nice good size burgar and lots of chips for only like $1 more than a crappy macdonalds meal. Even the reciept that they print out for you has Soft Egg written on it. Shocked

I go to our local burger shop and always get what I want, never been charged a red cent for it either.

The only thing is, its only open on Friday nights and weekends.

The problem with takeaway shops is they never know how busy they will be. I guess it's the kind of business where you know that lunch and dinner times will generally be busy but just how busy is a guess. When a takeaway shop is busy, it's frikking busy and other times it's dead quiet. I've been to places on a friday night where they were smashed, even a noodle shop where it was 1hr to place an order for a few fridays in a row but sometimes you walk in there at the same time of night on a friday and they're quiet with staff standing around twiddling their thumbs and it's 10 mins but then the next friday the line is out the door and down the carpark and up to an hour wait again. Shocked

It's worse though when the staff are standing around and it still takes nearly an hour... There's a fish & chip shop at Coolum, have only been there twice a year apart, but there where only a maximum of 15 people already waiting and we were told it would be up 45mins wait. And you could see the staff out the back just standing around in no hurry to do anything. I got talking to some Americans on holiday and they ended up just walking away, even having paid as well.

Macca's Egg

Living in Bethania (Brisbane Southside) due at Lismore to perform a service. Running late (nothing unusual there) so hit the drivethrough at Beenleigh Maccas for breakfast on the run. Bacon & Egg McMuffin meal. Two minutes later, just onto the SE Freeway, bite into the egg and the yolk bursts down my shirt front. Turn around, go home, iron a fresh shirt, arrive in Lismore 2 hours later than scheduled. Shit happens.

"Black" coffee!

For a while, I would regularly get a McMuffin meal on my way into the office. Always order a black coffee, get a white coffee about 20% of the time. Once, my black coffee came with free holes in the cup. Rolling Eyes

I opened the door and left it in the middle of the car park.

I have no doubt that the advertising is correct, and the burgers truly ARE better at Hungry Jacks. Of course, if you're comparing against Macca's, that's not hard. However, service at HJs is truly a lottery.

At the drive through, you can't always understand the person behind that dreadful tinny speaker (and then they hand the microphone to an asian girl with both a lisp and an accent!) Did they ask me to place an order, or tell me to say three Hail Marys?

After the first batch of noise, place order. After the second batch of noise, say "No, that will be all thanks." After the third batch of noise, say "Thank you" and drive through to the first window. At the first window, pay - except, sometimes, wait at the first window, realise they're not using it, drive through to the second window to pay. Of course, that doesn't happen often, because you normally get to watch the car in front - or two (or more) of them - and see what they do.

After waiting for an indeterminate length of time (sometimes they'll process 5 cars in one minute, other times wait 5 minutes while they serve one car) receive your order. Ask for straw(s) (if a drink was ordered), check contents of bag (does it look approximately correct, or have you been short-changed?), ask for serviettes (rarely get them otherwise.)

Recently, I decided to forego the lengthy drive-through line, and wander in-store in search of better service. Two groups of customers standing near the counter, two young girls loitering behind the counter, two more loitering near the drive-through window and a manager standing near the drive-through window screaming orders at the kitchen. After 5 minutes of no orders being delivered over the counter (much less anybody showing any interest in taking orders) I left again.

But I'll keep going back - I really do like the Bacon Deluxe burger. armsup
