Here is a preview of the upcoming DVD release of the 2008 Engel Series - Round 1.

A warning though - this is not for the faint at heart... Enjoy!

Release date is expected to be mid to late May 2008 (about 3 weeks time).

The footage from 12 cameras has been edited, and is about to be compiled this weekend. I am happy to say each competitor is featured in this DVD.

Music has been sourced and edited from 2 upcoming Melbourne bands.

The DVD can be pre-ordered (the benefit to you is you get it cheaper now than at release date, plus you get your copy before the stores) by visiting www.mudrhino.com.au and downloading the order form.

Three methods of payment are available (makes it easier for you), and cost is $30 which includes all packing and posting costs (makes the DVD cost just over $23). For thos who marhsalled at the event, there is a special marshal's price (pm me if you want details).

But it should be noted there is only about 2 - 2.5 weeks left for pre-ordering. So if your interested, I highly recommend you hurry up with your orders.

Okay - thanks to those people who pre-ordered their copy.

The release date for this dvd is this week, so for those who have pre-ordered, your copy should be within you within a week.

For those who have not pre-ordered, the pre-order price only remains current for this week, after which the cost of the dvd will depend on what stores sell it at - so if your wanting a copy hurry up.

Cheers.

good work on the DVD and editing.

do you think winch challenges would get a bigger following if they modified the events to be less high speed and less about winching?

No speed, no winching... so you mean make it like Tuff Truck style events?

There is music on the dvd, not all thrashy. There is also a lot of footage that is nothing but the grunt of engines.

We tried to please everyone with this production.

less high speed Confused i can see what you mean about the winching from spectator POV but why wouldn't they want high speed?
