damo13,

2" body lift on a TF is a no brainer. The biggest problem you may experience is undoing any seized up bolts on the rear tray.

The brakelines on mine did not need modification. Re the steering, make sure you loosen the steering shaft at the steering box first. You may have to play around with the radiator and cowling. I left my radiator where it was and just lost the lower half of the cowling.

The bottom radiator hose in this instance had a bit of a kink but trimming it a bit will bring it back into trim.

Make sure you remove the brackets that secure the tub to the body (x2).. I threw mine away.

I suggest you get a couple of good solid lengths of wood to go under the side rails, a couple of hydraulic trolly jacks and another person to help.

I would start with the tub first then start on the body. Place the wood under the side sills (more surface area the better) and jack very slowly and monitor all bits an peices. Probably best to remove the radiator for maore space first, loosten the steering column and you will fine that the body lifts without a problem. Put the blocks in, drop the bolts through the floor and carefully lower.

I have to state that mine was the diesel but I assume that the petrol models are just as easy.

Cheers

Rainsey
