Well I got a passenger seat frame kindly given to me today so I can take both seats off to the trimmers for some new bases and backs. Plus this morning, I dropped all the brake shoes off to get rebonded - they were low but one of the linings fell off a shoe when I pulled the drum off. Seemed prudent to do them all Smile

I saw my first Haffy today in Forge St, Blacktown.
Looked like it had been restored, nice poo brown colour...

Bigger than what I expected, awesome looking beast!

I suspect what you saw was a Pinzgauer, it was probably green up close.

A mate of mine who has a business (Rhino ute linings)in Forge street owns it.

Haffy is about 1/2 as big as a Pinz. Trust me, you'll know when you see a Halflinger!

haffies are awsome machines i had two of them over here in scotland one was a soft top and one fibre glass full cab version, they have front+rear diff locks and will go anywhere i tookmine on an offroad demo course when the vitara was launched and kicked there arse
