posted here cause I thought I would have a better chance than in wanted section.
Like the title says, I need a precleaner housing off a diesel GQ, the type that has the clip on lid with the wingnut in the centre.
Prefer Sydney area as it needs to be sent to Wollongong, but anywhere is fine if the price is right.
Cheers

Try Turboglide in Wollongong (at Russell Vale on the Hwy). They may have spares lying around from various turbo conversions. |

I need one to give to Turboglide
They use them in TD42 turbo setup when there is a second battery, they modify them and use a K&N filter.
GQ has sorted me out anyway.
Cheers

can you tell me how they modify them and which model gq is the precleaner housing from. I know the later models have a larger housing. here is some pics of what i have at the moment. I intend on putting in a second battery but with the huge alloy air box in their i can't. At the moment the precleaner housing has no filter in it. Pics would be great if anyone has them. I was thinking of getting a larger later model prefilter housing and sitting it upright and perhaps cutting 3" holes for inlet and outlet. Any help you guys can provide is appreciated. |
